Young Persons Drop In Service

Young Persons Drop-in clinic

If you are aged under 25 and registered with us, please note that we now run a weekly Young Persons Drop-in Clinic, held every Wednesday, from 4pm – 6pm. Simply arrive between 4pm and 5.30pm, give your name at reception and you will be seen in turn. These are the sorts of things you might like to discuss: Contraception, Sexual Health, Minor Illnesses, Stress. However anything goes!

How do I book an appointment?

You don't need an appointment, just turn up!

If you need to speak to a doctor urgently, call 01736 793333 and let the receptionist know - you don't have to tell them what it's about if you don't want to. Out of hours, call 111. We always have appointments available on the day for problems you feel need urgent attention.

Will you tell anyone that I'm here?

No. Every member of staff at the surgery has a duty of confidentiality. That means they won't tell anyone that you have come in or what you came in about. In very exceptional circumstances, if we thought you or someone else was at significant risk of harm, only then would we share information about you, but we would tell you first.

Will I be judged?

No. All doctors and nurses are trained to help all people, whoever they are.
